Beloved, be brave! Blogged prayers for some warrior women #15

Ok, yes.... yesterday or the day before I posted Blogged Prayer # 7 and #8.  In the 40 days...today is really DAY #15!  I will catch up and post the other ones later.

This AM, while going to the gym and returning, I just was overwhelmed with the thought....be brave!

Exodus 14.14 is one of my go to verses.  I remind myself of it often!

Some days when a season of hurt is very present and overwhelming....what can you do?

You lean in deeper and further into the lap of Abba Father -- God... Jesus...

Last night I had SJ duties at the Volleyball game.  I put her PJ's on as it was cold in the gym and all she wanted was 'down' so she could walk.

She is walking around the  furniture and enjoying this new found freedom she has with pulling herself up and enjoying her movable legs.  She crawls like a champ, but watching her venture and crawl up a wall and stand and then practice her standing....being free and being BRAVE.  It is remarkable to watch.  As a mother I watched my kids with the parent eyes of keeping them safe.  As a grandparent, I watch in wonder and enjoy!

She has no worries.

 No fear.

She knows she is unconditionally loved and really does not know about how it will HURT when she falls.

She moves -- without thinking and goes for it.  She trusts something.  She trusts the love of her parents and she - unknowingly - trusts God.

My or my...how our lives would be so different if we just truly lived in....walked in... crawled around in the KNOWING that we are truly LOVED by our Father.

We would move without fear.  We would walk around the HARD stuff and not give up or give in.

So simple and easy ...right?

Sometimes being brave is being able to walk in this season not knowing what tomorrow will bring -- but knowing that no matter what -- God is fighting for me.  God if fighting for you.

Sometimes being brave is just being still and waiting.

Sometimes being brave is actually SEEKING another for prayer.

Sometimes being brave is crawling instead of walking.

Sometimes being brave is declaring victory when all we see is defeat.

Lord, I pray for the one reading this right now -- I pray that she is brave today and seeks God for each and every need but also for a deeper understanding of Your love and Your peace.  I pray she knows who she is in Your eyes and I pray she will venture out today with the knowledge that You are fighting for her.  In Jesus Name,  Amen.

Beloved, passing through the waters. Blogged prayer #10

Isaiah 43.2
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you.  When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you.

Almost 8 years ago, our lives were very different.  My life was very different.  I was on a roller coaster and just trying to get off, or back on...or even get to a new 'ride' but that was then.

This morning, God reminded me of something special that happened to me seven   years ago at my Encounter weekend.....heading to the Encounter was hard, as there were so many unanswered questions, thoughts, and hurt, but coming home from it -- there was a true Encounter with My Lord.

The verse in Isaiah...passing through the waters...That has been happening for the past several years and God NEVER once....left me.  HE was there with me all the time.    I think back and can get overwhelmed by thoughts, problems, and hurts...and HE says, I will NOT let them overwhelm you... and HE kept HIS promise.  I did not get burned...scorched...and the flame did not kindle upon me.

Even today,  I pondered and thought -- about the wonder of God and HOW ...as we pass through these waters...HE will never leave us.  There is a woman today,  and we are praying together and agreeing in prayer that her husband will make the RIGHT choice and choose God and their family.  She is passing through some rough waters right now - but I know God iw RIGHT there with her.

Another woman is in a season right now and she can only describe it as being 'flummoxed'...but God knows and she will not be burned or scorched but rebuilt within this season.

Another mother is waiting and waiting...on Jesus to do something with her son and yet.... she can't understand why and when this will happen or what will happen next.  But I know and she does too -- that GOD is RIGHT there.

And another, is trying to restart a relationship with Jesus -- to trust Him as her Lord, and it is hard when she has some big hurts to let Him heal...But He will.

God  spoke to my heart today in several ways.  He  answered prayer.  He reminded me of WHERE we have come from and I rejoiced in all the GOOD that has transpired to place on top of those hurts.

Part of that process was the healing that occurred over the many God Encounter Weekends that I was blessed to be a part of.  Inner Healing in a weekend.... Transformation within a Weekend -- ONLY God can do that.

On that Weekend some seven years ago -- it was me and God.  And yet...

Its not about me...its about HIM.

The precious and priceless beauty of that...is that God makes me feel so loved...it is like I AM the only one on the Earth!

THAT is how close HE is.

HE can be that for YOU too....  but you must seek HIM.

So, as a reminder --

Whatever YOU may be facing or experiencing right now in your life,  DO not give up.....Hang on.

At the beginning of my Encounter Weekend, I spoke to my Small Group leader  and made my list of hurts and what I wanted to hear from God and 'learn'....HE had HIS own plan.  HIS plan was MUCH better than mine or what I expected.

At the end of my Encounter Weekend, at a prayer time I was slain in the Spirit...that had NEVER happened to me before.  I have seen it happen, I have heard people talk about it - but if it was going to happen to me or be real...I had told God -- HE would have to do it.  HE did.  I went for prayer, I lifted my palms up to show I was submitting to whatever God had for me and my Prayer Warrior  began to pray.  All I heard was, "Father God..."  and I felt the bottoms of my feet lift up and I was down.  And out.  And I saw the most beautiful light...yellow light.  At first I asked God - 'what is this?'  But I felt peace and calm and tranquility.....I believe I got to see the light of God -- for a brief moment, just a brief moment, but HE reminded me of that Encounter today.  HE reminded me...HE is with us.. always...

There is more to this story - but, that is all I am suppose to share ...I am to encourage someone...somewhere.... HE will NOT let you pass through the waters alone, call to HIM today ...

Don't give up.

God wins.

Submitted in Christ -- michelle

Beloved, Promises to believe and FB fighting. Blogged prayer #9.

Luke 1.45
Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill HIS promises to her.

As a little girl - I had many beliefs in things and  I believed God had promised me many good things as well.  I was going to marry the man of my dreams and I would live happily ever after.

I still believe in that - and I did marry the man of my dreams and we are living pretty well... enjoying God's grace and our children and grand kids.  But...

In the past two weeks there has been MUCH on FB and social media about the choice for the next Supreme Court Justice and the President's  nomination.  If you watched FB or social media - the mud slinging back and forth was very real.  Heck, it was in the news each day.

One belief I do have is that a baby is conceived the moment of conception and that is a real life.

Therefore, I am pro life, not pro choice.  And I vote  because of a personal belief that we as a nation of people have murdered over 60,069,971 babies since Roe vs. Wade in 1973.

There will be a day of reckoning for this.  There just will.

Back to the Kavanaugh 'stuff'.  I even noticed  the debate  between family members.  My family members.  And it was very hard to read and witness.    I wanted to yell and scream.   But what I would of screamed is this ..... read, pray, watch and then think....   if we are in turn with our bibles and God's Kingdom calendar, don't you see the timing of this all?

If you watched Senator Susan Collins and her speech in the Senate -- you can see a real clear picture that from the moment Mr. Kavanaugh's nomination was posted -- all hell broke loose.

To me personally -- this is a man who will stand for  life and I believe the enemy wanted to make sure his reign was a little longer.

I do think and feel Mr. Kavanaugh  was treated unfairly.   I am not sure if I  believe Dr. Ford.  I think she probably was violated, but my head could not settle that it was Mr. Kavanaugh.  There was too much confusion.  I do believe she was used as a pawn.

I think it was evident how 'spilt' we are as a nation politically -- with the 51-49 vote to confirm the Judge.  But also ... it really seems that we are split with God's Word as well.

THAT is really a whole other thing -- and THAT is scary.  Jesus come quickly -- many do not know what they stand for -- so they will fall for much.

So, back to God's promises .....

What can be said about God's promises to us?

He has promised to supply every need we have. The Bible says: "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus". That's Phillipians 4:19. Now notice, God has obligated Himself only to the extent of our needs. That would include food, clothing, shelter, companionship, love, and salvation thru Jesus Christ. It would not include the multiplicity of luxuries that we have come to think of as needs.

So, as I pray for my sister in Christ - I know that God is going to supply all your needs.  To the one trying to figure out HOW to pay the light bill to the one sister that is trying to believe that she has value and worth ....GOD will supply that.

God has promised that His grace is sufficient for us. (II Corinthians 12:9). in fact, He has made provision for our salvation by His grace through faith. Read Ephesians 2:8. It is through an obedient faith hat we have access into the grace of God according to Romans 5:2.

So, as I pray for my sister in Christ -- I also include those that were so stressed and frustrated over this entire process selecting the next Supreme Court Judge.  God I pray that you would show those so bent out of shape over all of this -- what YOUR will would be....

God has promised that His children will not be overtaken with temptation. Instead, He assures us that a way of escape will be provided. This promise is recorded in I Corinthians 10:13. Jude wrote: "Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present your faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy" (Jude v 24). Darius, King of the Medes, said to Daniel, "Thy God whom thou serves continually, he will deliver thee" (Daniel 6:16). He did deliver Daniel from the den of lions.

Lord, for those who have been overcome and overtaken by sexual sin...I am NOT belittling it or making it seem like it should be swept under the rug...but I pray for those who are assaulted -- and I pray that they seek justice and I pray that they get the healing and help they need.  I pray also for those who were assaulted so many years ago and there is no closure or healing -- God -- ONLY You can help them...ONLY You can heal these many years later --

God has promised us victory over death. He first resurrected Jesus by way of assuring our resurrection. Peter said: "This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we are all witnesses" (Acts 2:32). Paul wrote to the Corinthians: "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures" (I Corinthians 15:3,4). Later on he adds: "but thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" (I Corinthians 15:57).

Lord, what a blessing to know - heaven is next -- may that thought keep us focused and also help us to NOT loose sight of what is indeed important each day --

God has promised that all things work together for good to those who love and serve Him faithfully (Romans 8:28). It may be difficult for us to see and understand how this is accomplished at times, but God has promised it, and He will deliver.

Lord, I thank you -- as I believe YOU do this promise over and over...and You will work things out for my sister in Christ and she will believe in her value and worth and see the good she is doing within her circle of influence.

God has promised that those who believe in Jesus and are baptized for the forgiveness of sins will be saved. (Read Mark 16:16 and Acts 2:38).

God has promised His people eternal life (John 10:27,28).

Lord, in closing, let me appeal to all whom are reading this -- I pray that you  live so that the promises of God will be yours.  In Jesus Name, Amen.

Beloved, YOU are standing strong! Prayer #8

So, Blogged Prayer #7 was with ME in mind.....

Tonight's blog which I had been thinking about all day is #8.

There are two women that I am writing for this eve...one my sister in Christ whom I started these blogs for but another this eve....

She is holding steady -- trying her best to hold together a family when her husband is NOT seeking God's will and it is very hard.  She is also a sister in Christ with a very different circumstance and yet -- God loves EACH of them dearly.

With that -- here is my prayer tonight.

Some days are harder than others.  Some days all you want to do is give up and give in.

Don't.

Pray.

Seek God.

I always encourage women to read the book of Esther.  She didn't give up and thank God -- hold on.  Here is the prayer for today.

Lord,  I am praying today, as today is Day #8 of the 40 days of prayer for my secret sisters.  Lord, another dear friend gave me Isaiah 61 at one time.  She told me that I was going to be called  an 'oak of righteousness... a planting of the Lord, for the day of HIS splendor'.

At the time, I just thanked her and said, 'ok'.  I have a little better understanding of that verse now in Isaiah.  Lord, I am humbled  that someone would think my prayers are powerful and that I was righteousness... I am not... YOU are and YOU make me that way when I live for YOU.

Lord, you have done a planting and a healing in my life and if I can encourage my sweet friend to hang in there..that she too can be an oak of righteousness...then I want to share that.  Lord,  I have claimed healing in YOUR name for her.  Healing in her heart and head as the enemy wants to destroy her.   I also claim  healing in another's broken heart -- and healing in her marriage.    And when she is past this, when she is beyond this, she will look back and see how YOU did a planting in her life.  Lord for both of those sister's in Christ this eve....

Lord, YOUR word states that you will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated.  Do that... she is hurting,  she has been hurting for a bit and YOU can rebuild.  Rebuild her life, rebuild her faith, rebuild her desire for that expression of love, rebuild the faith she had in YOU once, rebuild the relationships that have been severed, just rebuild.  Lord, I thank you.  Lord, I consider it an honor and privilege to pray for both of them!

I know that I know, you will heal her.  Heal them.   I pray that today as she reads this, she will see you in a new an amazing way.  I pray she will see something that triggers a memory or something to remind her that You know every hair on her head and remind her that You knew her in the womb.  And You created a beautiful and strong woman that is an Oak of Righteousness to many....her family...her students...her children... her friends.  IJN.    Amen.

Beloved You are loved. Prayers about being offended. Prayer #7

It has been several days since I posted a prayer.

As usual, I am waiting on God to post but I have not forgotten my dear sweet pal  -- as I stated and told her, I am committed to prayer for 40 days and I daily go before Jesus and just thank Him for her healing and the good that is coming her way.   She is 'waiting' to see the healing that is coming physically but there is an emotional need that I believe God is healing as well.

I love this sister in Christ - she makes me laugh and she teaches me much!   She isn't the topic of this blog tonight -- I am.

Today --

-- today, my heart needed some healing.  Something was posted and it was a direct hit.  Truth be told -- I never saw the post.  A mutual pal  told me of it.   RIGHT there, I should of just STOPPED and never even looked at the post.....

Considering some recent events and circumstances, I went to this person's  page and read and looked and ya... probably her post is connected to a recent event that  was within my surroundings.

However, as I was thinking - I came across this:

I believe she was upset.  We all get upset.   I was  upset with her right at that  moment, but in reality I don't have to excuse or explain.  Again, if social media were not so prevalent -- I never would of even known what her post stated.

But quickly -- the enemy wants us to take offense.

Luke 17.1 It is impossible that no offenses should come.

Satan, you are the enemy of my soul, and I refuse to allow you to ensnare me in your hidden and baited trap of offense against my brothers and sisters in Christ.
( declaration, pg. 3 of The Bait of Satan by John Bevere)

But what happens when it does happen?

You get offended -- by someone you are trying to help, by someone you are trying to love, by  someone who knows exactly HOW to hit the right buttons within your heart and head.

David stated in Psalm 55: 12-14 -- "for it  is not an enemy who reproaches me: then I could bear it.  Nor is it one who hates me who has exalted himself against me: then I could hide from him.  But it was you, a man of my equal, my companion and my acquaintance.  We took sweet counsel together, and walked to the house of God in the throng."

Offended -- by the one we are trying to help.
Offended -- by the one we sing along side of.
Offended -- by the one we spend holidays with.
Offended -- by the one we grew up with.
Offended -- by the one we sleep next too.

Offended.

Why??

Because we are weak people....
We fail....

The trick is ... or really the mature thinking in me --  is to  allow this offense to be placed at the cross.

Ex. 14.14 is one of my favorite's.
The Lord will fight for me, I need only be still.

Lord -- I refuse to be trapped when the enemy's bait of offense tries to ensnare me in its grip by filling my heart with bitterness, jealousy, or envy -- but especially anger.   Your Word says in Luke 17 that -- the enemy will try - but, we, I can stand against it!

Holy Spirit, destroy every shred of pride in my life, and do not allow it to keep me from being healed, set free, and filled with Your Power.  I am committed to helping unbelievers who have been blinded by the enemy to behold Jesus through my Christlike love for them and even when it seems that my actions or the actions of my husband don't seem to LINE up with what another expects... we seek YOU and YOUR divine help.

Holy Spirit, be my teacher and my counselor so that Your revealed Word will continue to bring great liberty to my life and this blog ministry -- and the ministry You have placed into my hands with Women's Encounters.

Father, I want to continue to always grow into a more intimate relationship with You -- expose the areas of my life that hinder me from being Christlike and cause my life to reflect the character of my precious Savior  and Lord.

Holy Spirit, anoint my eyes with eye salve that I may see my true heart condition, and be kept from deception through unforgiveness, anger, envy and resentment -- but also -- help me see this in others and USE me to help share Your love.  As I know -- You love them as much as You love me and want them in Your eternal Kingdom as well...IN Jesus's Holy and Strong Name -- AMEN!

Beloved, It is hard to wait. Prayer #6.

So, waiting is indeed difficult.  For me, as I was raised in an era where FAST FOOD was invented -- I believe that many of us around my age do get annoyed when  answers don't come fast enough.

For me, as a teacher, I have 180 days with a student.  I really only have 100 days, if I am lucky, before the BIG ASSESSMENT which seems to  designate if I was a success or a failure.  I mean, if you are a teacher -- that is  somewhat true, but not really in my opinion.    So, time is NOT a luxury I can afford with students nowadays.   When I started teaching...there was time.  Now...not so much.  But this blog is not about that, and truly...I don't teach my students to pass that one test.  I teach my students how to be successful in what is expected of them now and that test may be a  necessary evil -- but it does not seem to be going away.

So, we do work at being our BEST in trying to do our BEST.  But again... this is NOT about FSA testing.

This blog is about waiting.  With God....

My mom says it takes "long enough" when a baby is within the womb.  I call this long enough waiting.  You are pregnant --9 months or 40 weeks-- and that baby comes when he or she is good and ready.  Basically when you just can't take it anymore...that little one finally makes his or her way out.  In the past year, I got to witness my granddaughter being born and 'educing' labor is MUCH different now compared to 27 years ago.  Now, with first time moms, the doctors really don't let you go past the 40 weeks.  Interesting.

I think that happens in our lives in other areas.  We wait and wait on the phone with a bank or the cable person long enough until we just can't stand it any longer and then we want a manager to FIX it, or 'get it out'...whatever the situation may call for. Sort of like that OB/GYN and the baby educing.

Oh, I am not really comparing a young's mom health and baby's welfare to waiting on the phone for a technician or  customer care rep...but what I am saying is that many of us wait and wait and we wait long enough until we just can't TAKE it any longer and then we PUSH for action.

Or maybe this will resonate.  You are at a restaurant and your waitress has ignored you or taken WAY too long to get you the drinks you ordered and so finally, you have to get the manager to make something happen...sooner.

But maybe we should have waited just ONE more day?

There is pizza box waiting.  That is where you  are really hungry and order pizza for supper and it is sitting on the passenger seat and at the stop light, you just can't help yourself and you open the box and grab a slice and take a bite!  However, the light turns  green, that bite that smelled so good has now   burned the roof of your mouth and you desperately try to stay in the right lane as you put the slice back in the box and try to drive and swallow that burning hot piece of pizza that you can't really enjoy.  Nor will you enjoy the rest of the pizza as the roof of your mouth will let you know for days that you should have waited to take a bite.

 If only you had waited.

And we have the  three year old waiting with the why.  Ava's favorite word right now is "why?"  She wants to do whatever it is by herself and wants to DO it right then but when you try and persuade her to wait or to do something different, you get the question, "why?"

And as you explain she then asks the next question, "why?"  And this can go on for several moments until you either distract her from NOT doing what you were trying to avoid ....or you just GIVE in and let her do it by herself.

I am trying to think of an example -- there are many, but most recently she wanted to POP the pod of laundry soap before it went into the washer.

I am a teacher and I do like to make 'fun' out of laundry and so loading our washer and adding the soap is something Ava and I have done several times.   She has a stool, she can't reach the soap but knows the routine.  She no longer wants to try and EAT the smelly things we add to the laundry to wash out G-man's stink from the gym -- which is progress-- but she is still obsessed with trying to stick her fingernail into a pod to see what happens.

And so, "no, Ava, please don't pop that -- the washer will make the soap come out".
"Why?"      "Cause that is the way the people made these.  You see there are soap pods, so it is just easy to pop one into the washer."   "Why?"   "Cause people want stuff easier, otherwise I have to pour the soap into a cup and put it in the washer."  "Why?"   "Cause that is just... Ava, JUST put the soap in the washer".

  And she did.

Conversation is over.    Stool put away and Ava goes to her chair to have a snack.  However, she comes to me in tears....trying to spit something out.  I am asking her what is wrong and why she looks like she is about to puke.......???

She HAD poked that soap pod with her fingers. ( I didn't realize it.)   So when she grabbed a few gummies to eat, they had a nice coating of liquid laundry soap on them.

I smelled her teeth and her lips and then licked her finger and sure enough...I realized WHAT had transpired.  So, even with that guidance...she didn't really WAIT at all.  She poked that pod... and then suffered a consequence.

If only she had listened to the wiser women and waited and NOT poked the problem.

And there is are we there yet waiting.  I think this one is pretty self - explaining.  You know, you have seen it in the movies and maybe even experienced it in real life.  When the child or the nagging cousin in the back seat continues to ask, "are we there yet?"   "How much longer?"   And the outcome really doesn't come any faster with us asking every 2-5 minutes.   It is the same way with baking a pie, opening the oven door and checking it every 5 minutes does not make it cook faster.  It actually slows the process down cause you are letting the heat out.  Common sense.

Waiting is difficult and HARD.

Waiting on GOD and HIS timing can be ONE of the most aggravating and frustrating experiences and yet...  GOD is never late and He is always ON TIME.

In the middle of our crisis or waiting -- we just can't SEE it right now.

But, trust a wiser person ...trust God and His promise that HE will NOT withhold from You what He has prepared for You.

  It will come.....

This waiting will soon be over.  And you  will be a new season.  But there will be a season again where you will have to wait.

But the next time, YOU will probably trust God a little more and it may NOT be as difficult.   Then again, it could have its own 'hardness' and you may come back to this blog and seek God.

Don't be like AVA and POKE that soap pod.... God knew you would and He will cover you , but it may delay something else.

Don't be that one that grabs the bite of pizza because You couldn't just wait a few more moments.  Again.... you may get burned.

Don't be the one that demands something happens RIGHT now, when indeed a few more moments may have been WHAT God intended.

I remember getting a text from a dear cousin in  the middle of a trial.  And he said,  "God certainly has a way of timing.  It is interesting that God is never late and always on time.  But...wouldn't you just like God to be EARLY....this one time? "     I replied, "yes".... but I knew - God's timing was best.

When my husband and I were in our healing phase, I would also say or speak about the fact that WHEN I got to heaven, I was going to ASK God WHY it had to TAKE so long.... to be quite honest, there was a period of almost 10 years of struggle.  But after a few years of stating that and thinking that....God healed us even more and now, that is NOT the question I am going to ask when I get to heaven.  I don't even care about that.  I know now...it HAD to be that Long.  AS when the healing came and it came slowly .... THAT was also God's timing, as that healing STUCK .

So, for WHATEVER season YOU are in right now.  Whether you are waiting on God or trying to PUSH something to happen sooner, I would just ask you to LOOK up and seek God about it.  Let Him know you will trust His timing and not try to rush anything but that you will wait and you will wait in His peace.  In Jesus name.

Amen.

Boy ..that was a LOT of Michelle talking there.  Not even an scripture this eve!!  I spent 24 hours - literally in bed sleeping and thinking the other night -- cause I had the flu.  I wanted the flu to be GONE and FAST...but that didn't happen.  I had to WAIT for the bug to run its course and to let the healing angels get me back on my feet.  So, I had a lot of time thinking when I was conscience.  But I did pray -- for the flu process to hurry and be gone.

I guess my body needed a rest.  24 hours of rest.  I had to wait it out.

But I also want to say this...  waiting is important, but again -- if you are in a situation where your children are in danger or YOU are in danger because of a circumstance or abusive spouse...God is NOT asking you to wait -- BE safe and move or get help.  Be sensible and real...  don't allow someone or something to endanger you.

I do believe many people, men and women -- especially in marriages DO NOT wait on God and force divorce or whatever WAY too soon.  But I also know, that  even if we don't wait on God and push something through....as long as we continue to seek God, He will make a new way and help us bring beauty from those  ashes.  Even when we caused them ourselves.  He is a Great Father !

Beloved, some times one just can't pray. Prayer #5.

So very true...some days, some nights, or in some moments the words won't
come or maybe you just DO NOT want to pray ONE more time.

God truly does know your head and heart, but I do believe there is obedience in voicing our praise and requests to our Lord.

But often, I forget this one simple prayer.

From Matthew 6 ....  this is from the ESV version.

Our Father in heaven,
hhallowed be iyour name.1
10  jYour kingdom come,
kyour will be done,2
lon earth as it is in heaven.
11  mGive us nthis day our daily bread,3
12  and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13  And olead us not into temptation,
but pdeliver us from qevil.4
14 rFor if you forgive others their trespassesyour heavenly Father will also forgive you,15 sbut if you do not forgive others their trespassesneither will your
 Father forgive your trespasses.

Very simply, we call upon God and His will ...will be done.  Give me that daily bread -- get me through this very hard time or this awful thought. And help me Lord, to forgive and let go.  And Lord, lead me NOT into temptation -- but deliver me.

As a child, I recited this prayer every day after lunch.  I didn't understand its meaning back then, but I am thankful it is memorized and I am thankful that this prayer is as powerful today as it was a child...reciting it for a purpose.  I do believe God's Kingdom will come and this present hard season will be but a blip....but until then, GOD does care and knows your ache right now.  And He will give You His daily bread, Amen.

Amen.
